How to compare original text with results in eleven case styles on Windows.

Getting started

  • Type or paste your input, or choose Try example.
  • Select a case style, review the result and choose Copy result.
  • Use Settings for Japanese/English, appearance, hotkey and optional tray mode.
  • The Paste button replaces all input. Regular Ctrl+V pastes at the selection or cursor in the input box.

Environment and rules

For Windows 11 build 22000 or later desktops. Input is limited to 200,000 UTF-16 code units. Oversized input is rejected without truncation. The displayed character count uses graphemes, a different unit from the input limit.

Eleven styles: UPPER, lower, Title, Sentence, toggle, snake, SCREAMING_SNAKE, kebab, camel, Pascal and dot. Casing does not detect proper names or language-specific conventions, translate Japanese or split Japanese words. Identifier styles operate per line and treat symbols and emoji as separators.

If selection import is unavailable

With CaseSprig running, select text in another app and press Ctrl+Shift+F9 by default. Import requires the other app to expose selected text through Windows UI Automation. Use regular copy and paste for elevated apps or unsupported controls.

Choose F8–F11 or disable the hotkey in Settings. A failed import does not erase input or substitute old clipboard contents.
