CaseSprig Privacy Policy
This policy describes information handling in the CaseSprig Windows app provided by CAEN Inc.
Processing on your device
Input, converted results and restored-input history are held in memory and discarded when the app exits. The app does not automatically save document text to files. Only preferences such as language, case style, theme, hotkey and window position are saved on your device.
The app has no ads, analytics, account registration or feature that sends text to a developer server. Conversion works offline.
Selected text and the clipboard
Choosing Paste reads text from the Windows clipboard. Copy writes a selected input range or converted result to the clipboard. The app does not continuously monitor clipboard contents.
Only when you press the configured hotkey does the app use Windows UI Automation to read selected text from a supported app. It does not automatically paste into or replace text in other apps.
By default, copied text is excluded from Windows clipboard history and device sync. If you enable the preference or copy the text again in another app, Windows or external-service settings and information handling apply.
Purchases and support
Microsoft Store handles purchases, delivery and updates. The app has no separate payment service, in-app purchases or subscription. Microsoft's privacy statement applies to information handled by its services.
Your inquiry email address, details and optional diagnostic information are used to reply and investigate an issue. You do not need to send your converted text. Remove personal or confidential information from attachments.
