PomoMini Support

Learn how to use the PomoMini Windows focus timer and troubleshoot common issues.

Get started

  • 1. Open Settings from the menu, choose focus and break durations and your display language, and save.
  • 2. Enter a task label and choose Start. Use the same button to pause and resume.
  • 3. Use Always on top and Compact view to keep the remaining time visible while you work. If you hide the window, use the PomoMini system tray icon to show it.

Requirements and storage

PomoMini is a Windows 11 desktop app. Packages are prepared for x64 and ARM64. Device testing has been performed on Windows 11 x64.

Closing the app stops the timer. On reopening, the saved remaining time is restored in a paused state. Settings, task labels, and completed focus records stay on this PC. Cloud sync and export are not available.

Troubleshooting

  • If completion alerts do not appear, check the app's notification settings, Windows notification settings, and Do not disturb. You can test notifications from Settings.
  • If the window is hidden, use the PomoMini system tray icon or restart the app. Restarting adjusts the saved window position onto an available screen.
  • If Windows has disabled startup, check Windows Settings → Apps → Startup.
  • Before uninstalling or resetting the app, make a separate note of settings and completion records you want to keep.
