PingLattice Support
Learn the basics of the PingLattice Windows Ping measurement app.
Get started
- Enter an IP address or hostname, optionally set count, interval, timeout, and payload size, and select Start. Count 0 means continuous measurement. Use only targets you are authorized to check.
- Select Stop to finish. Measurement continues while minimized, but closing the app or putting the PC to sleep stops it. It does not resume automatically.
- Copy statistics, copy a selected response, or save a CSV. Use favorites and recents, and choose Japanese or English and a display theme in Settings.
Understanding results and limits
Packet loss is the percentage of completed attempts without a successful reply, including local sending errors. Unfinished requests canceled by Stop are excluded. Minimum, average, and maximum RTT include successful replies only. Jitter is the mean absolute RTT difference between consecutive successful replies.
Statistics cover the entire current run; the graph retains 120 results, the displayed log 500, and CSV export 10,000. Retained and discarded counts are shown when older results are dropped. Starting a new run replaces previous results.
The app targets Windows 11 22H2 or later desktops. Runtime checks use x64; ARM64 builds are also prepared. Successful Ping does not guarantee that a website or other service works.
Troubleshooting
- No reply may mean the target or network blocks ICMP. Check the address, IPv4/IPv6 choice, and network connection.
- If name resolution fails, check the hostname and Windows name resolution settings. The resolved IP displayed by the app remains the destination throughout that run.
- If CSV export fails, check storage space and destination permissions. If copying fails, another app may be using the clipboard; wait and retry.
