NetSpeed Privacy Policy
NetSpeed is a Windows app provided by CAEN Inc. that displays current network transfer rates.
Network counter processing
The app reads adapter names and cumulative sent and received byte counts exposed by Windows and calculates current transfer rates on your device. It does not read packet contents, browsing history, destinations or file contents.
Adapter names and counters are used in memory for calculation and display. The 60-second chart is lost when the app exits. The app does not send this data to our servers and has no in-app ads, analytics or account registration.
Preferences stored on your device
Selected adapter, units, refresh interval, window size, position and theme are saved in the per-user application data folder on your Windows device. A backup of the previous settings is kept there in case a save fails.
If you turn on launch at sign-in, the app uses the Windows startup feature, which Windows manages. The app does not automatically send preferences or diagnostic information anywhere.
