MousePointerHalo Support
A Windows desktop utility to highlight the pointer and the places you click.
Getting started
- In Appearance, adjust circle size, color and opacity, left/right/middle clicks, ripples and L/R/M labels. Move or click in the preview to try the effects.
- In Behavior, choose reduced motion, hiding when the pointer is hidden or idle, and a toggle shortcut. The default is Ctrl+Alt+H. Choose another combination if it conflicts.
- In General, choose Japanese, English or Windows language. Changes take effect immediately.
- Close settings or the window's X hides settings to the tray while effects continue. Double-click the tray icon or launch the app again to reopen settings. Exit app stops effects and the process.
- Sign-in startup is disabled initially. Configure it in General in the Microsoft Store version.
Supported use
For Windows 10 build 19041 or later and Windows 11 on x64/ARM64. No internet connection, external account or additional payments are needed to use the app.
Effects do not appear on sign-in screens, protected prompts such as UAC, or some exclusive fullscreen applications. Window-only recording or sharing may omit effects. Check full-display capture in your recording or sharing software before use.
Troubleshooting
Pause and resume effects. Use the tray or settings if a shortcut is unavailable. Check free disk space and permissions if settings cannot be saved.
Older versions do not overwrite settings from a newer schema. Damaged settings may be recovered from a backup. Keep separate copies of important settings.
