Information handling in the MousePointerHalo Windows app provided by CAEN Inc.
Processing on your device
The app reads pointer position and mouse button state locally to draw a circle, ripples and labels. Activity is held in memory for current effects, without an activity history. It does not capture screen images, typed text or clipboard content.
The app has no advertising, analytics, account registration, custom-server connection or uploads of activity or preferences.
Stored information
Colors, sizes, effects, shortcuts and display language are saved under CAEN/MousePointerHalo in your local application data. Settings backups and archived damaged settings may be retained. Windows may virtualize this location for an MSIX package.
If a problem occurs, a small diagnostic file records the time, app operation, error type and code. It excludes pointer coordinates, click history, text, window names and screen images, and is not transmitted automatically. Close the app before manually deleting local files. Files saved or copied outside package storage may remain after uninstalling.
Purchases and support
Microsoft Store handles purchases, delivery and updates. The app has no separate payments, in-app purchases or subscriptions. Microsoft's services and Windows diagnostics are covered by its privacy statement.
Your support email address, message and optional diagnostic details are used to reply and investigate issues. You do not need to send confidential information or activity histories.
