Image Compare Privacy Policy
Image Compare compares images selected by you on your device. It does not send images or usage information to the developer's servers.
Information used in the app
Copies of selected images are stored in private app storage on your device for comparison. The app uses file names, image dimensions, formats, and orientation information to display and compare images.
The current comparison settings and the names and update dates of comparisons you save are also stored on the device so they can be restored or reopened.
Network, advertising, and analytics
Image Compare does not send images, comparison settings, or usage information to the developer's servers. The app has no internet permission, ads, analytics SDKs, account registration, or tracking.
Saving and sharing images
When you choose to export, you can save the comparison as a PNG or JPEG to Photos or Files. If you choose Share, Android passes the exported image to the app you select in its share sheet. The selected app's provider controls how it handles the image.
Exported images do not retain location or camera information from the source images. If you select a cloud-hosted file, Android's picker or the selected file provider retrieves it. Image Compare does not provide its own cloud sync.
Deletion and backup
Clearing the current comparison or deleting a saved comparison does not delete images from your photo library or original location. App-stored copies that are not used by another comparison are cleaned up.
Android backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for app data. Uninstalling the app deletes saved comparisons and image copies in private app storage. Exported images remain at the locations where you saved them.
