FontRows Privacy Policy
This policy describes information handling in the FontRows Windows app provided by CAEN Inc.
Information processed on your PC
FontRows processes and stores your text, comparison font names, display settings, favorites, language, theme and window size on your PC. It uses Windows DirectWrite to check installed font names and character coverage. It does not bundle, download or copy font files.
The app has no ads, analytics, tracking, account registration or automatic transmission to a developer server.
Files, images and the clipboard
The previous comparison and favorites are saved locally for each Windows user. Comparison files contain text, font names and display settings. The app reads and writes comparison files you select and exports PNG images to a location you choose. Font files are not embedded.
Choosing Copy font name writes that name to the Windows clipboard. The app does not monitor clipboard contents. If you use a cloud-synced folder or clipboard, the external services you configured apply their own information handling.
Managing saved information
Changing text or comparison fonts also updates the saved workspace. Manage or delete comparison files and PNG images at the location where you saved them. Review text for personal or confidential information before sharing. Save important comparisons to files before uninstalling or deleting app data.
Purchases and support inquiries
Microsoft Store handles paid purchases, app delivery and updates. The app has no separate payment service or in-app purchases. Microsoft's privacy statement applies to information handled by its services.
Email addresses, inquiry details and diagnostic information you choose to provide are used to reply and investigate an issue. You do not need to send your text, comparison files or font list. Remove personal or confidential information from any attachments.
