ClipSave Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) / x64, ARM64 Last updated: September 25, 2026

ClipSave Support

Save copied images or text to a folder you choose.

Getting started

  • Choose a destination folder when you first open the app.
  • Copy an image or text, then select Save in ClipSave. You can also press Ctrl+S.
  • In Settings, choose a filename prefix and a timestamp, date, or sequence naming rule if needed.

Supported content and limits

Images are saved as PNG and text as UTF-8 TXT. If the clipboard contains both an image and text, the image takes priority. Copied files, HTML, RTF, and OCR are not supported.

The optional global Ctrl+Alt+S shortcut works only while the app is running. It cannot be registered if another app is using it.

If saving fails

  • Check that the destination folder exists and you can write to it.
  • Check that the clipboard contains a supported image or text, then press F5 to refresh.
  • If the problem continues, email info@caen.co.jp with your Windows and app versions, the error shown, and the steps you took. You do not need to send clipboard contents.
