ArchiveShelf Privacy Policy
ArchiveShelf is provided by CAEN Inc. Core processing takes place on your device.
Data on your device
Selected archives, extraction destinations, compression inputs and passwords are processed on your device. Passwords are never sent to Sentry.
Crash diagnostics
Release versions use Sentry for crashes and unexpected failures of important operations. Diagnostics may include exception types, numeric error codes, cause relationships, function names and line numbers, OS/app versions, a random installation identifier generated by the SDK, and session/crash aggregation. These are not linked to a name, email address or app account. Private input, file names and paths, documents, media, clipboard contents and authentication information are excluded from diagnostic messages. No screenshots, Replay or private file attachments are collected.
Queued diagnostics may be stored in the app's local Diagnostics folder for retry. IP addresses reach the service during communication. Disabling default PII in the SDK does not by itself guarantee that the server does not store IP addresses or add location information.
