Yakudoshi Calculator Privacy Policy
CAEN Inc. (we) handles information in the Yakudoshi Calculator iPhone app as described below.
Information handled by the app
The app uses a profile name, date of birth, and selected yakudoshi category to calculate yakudoshi years, identify saved profiles, and display saved results.
It also uses a profile ID, creation and update timestamps, and the selected profile ID to edit, reorder, and restore the selection of multiple profiles.
On-device storage
Profile information is stored as JSON in the app's Application Support directory. The app does not send or sync this information to our servers or CloudKit.
If saved data cannot be read, the app may preserve it as a recovery file inside the app container instead of overwriting it. Whether app data is included in a device backup is governed by iOS and the user's backup settings.
Collection, tracking, and third-party SDKs
- We do not collect personal data through the app.
- The app has no advertising, analytics, account registration, or behavioral tracking.
- The app does not include third-party SDKs.
- The app does not request access to photos, location, contacts, health data, or other protected device data.
Sharing a result
Only when the user selects Share Result does the app pass result text to the standard iOS share sheet. The user reviews and chooses the destination. The app does not obtain or store information about that destination.
Deletion
Deleting a profile in the app removes that profile from on-device storage. Deleting the app removes profile information and recovery files held in the app container.
Changes to this policy
If app functionality or information handling changes, we will update this policy as needed and publish the change on this page.
