Web Image Saver & Converter Support
The App finds images on the page open in Safari on iPhone, then lets you save selected images to Photos, share them as a ZIP, or convert them to JPEG or PNG. The containing app can also convert WebP and AVIF files.
Use the extension in Safari
- Open a normal web page containing images in Safari.
- Open the page menu in the address bar, choose Manage Extensions, and enable Web Image Saver.
- Allow access to the website, then open Web Image Saver from the page menu.
The extension cannot run on pages where Apple disallows extensions, such as the Safari start page, settings pages, and App Store pages.
If images are missing
Use Refresh at the top of the extension. On a page with lazy-loaded images, use Scan Full Page to inspect the page in stages and detect additional images.
Images requiring a login, DRM-protected content, resources restricted by the website, and images inside a closed Shadow DOM may not be detected or retrieved. Reload the page and confirm that Safari itself can display the image.
If saving to Photos fails
Confirm in iPhone Settings that the App may add to Photos. The App requests add-only access and does not read existing photos.
Images that fail remain selected. Try fewer images, or use ZIP sharing when you want to preserve the original format.
JPEG and PNG conversion
The Safari extension converts up to 10 images at a time. You can choose quality, image size, and filename suffix, then save or share the results. If the combined processing output exceeds 80 MB, select fewer images or a smaller output size.
For reliable processing, very large images are automatically reduced to a maximum long edge of 8,192 pixels and no more than 16 megapixels. Transparent areas become white in JPEG output. Animated images become still images when converted.
In the containing app, the File Converter imports up to 20 WebP or AVIF images from Files and converts them to JPEG or PNG. If a file cannot be read, confirm that it is not corrupted and that its extension matches its actual format.
Reset or delete data
Clear in the file converter deletes imported images and converted outputs. Conversion settings and local save or conversion counts remain on the device. Delete the App from the iPhone to remove all App data.
Images saved to Photos and images or ZIP files exported to Files or another destination remain after the App is deleted. Delete them from their destination if needed.
Responsible use
Review image copyrights, licenses, and website terms, and save, convert, or share images only as permitted. The App does not bypass technology that prohibits or restricts retrieval.

FAQ
Are page information or images sent to CAEN Inc. servers?
No. Detection, saving, and conversion run in the Safari extension and on the device. Retrieving an image communicates with the website or image host that provides it.
Does deleting the App remove saved images?
No. Images and ZIP files exported to Photos, Files, or another destination remain. App settings, local usage counts, and temporary images are removed from the device.
