Tsuzuke Diary Privacy Policy
CAEN Inc. ("we") establishes this Privacy Policy for the handling of information in the iOS app Tsuzuke Diary (the "App").
1. Information we collect
The App does not create user accounts or transmit personal information, diary data, or usage data to our servers. We do not track users through the App.
The App contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or third-party tracking SDK.
2. Data stored on your device
Diary text, titles, photos, moods, tags, creation and modification dates, drafts, the selected recovery plan, notification settings, and lock settings are stored on your iPhone.
When the three-day rule expires, diary entries are removed from the normal viewing area and moved to an encrypted recovery area on the same iPhone. The encryption key is stored in the iOS Keychain. Recovery may be impossible if you delete the App, lose the device, or lose its local data.
3. In-app purchases
Diary recovery purchases are processed through Apple's StoreKit. Neither we nor the App directly obtain or store payment information such as credit card numbers. The StoreKit Transaction ID of a processed purchase is stored on the device to prevent duplicate recovery.
Apple's terms and privacy policy apply to purchase processing.
4. Notifications
If you grant permission, the App schedules local reminders on your iPhone. Diary text is not sent to our servers to deliver these reminders. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Photos and device authentication
The App uses Apple's PhotosPicker and copies only the photos you select into the diary. It does not request ongoing access to your entire photo library.
If enabled, the App uses Apple's LocalAuthentication to verify your identity before opening the diary. Neither the App nor we obtain your face image or passcode.
6. Backups
You can export a JSON backup containing photos and import a backup you select. Exported files are not encrypted, so please confirm where you save or share them. After sharing, the recipient service's terms and privacy policy apply.
The App deletes its temporary export file after the share sheet closes. Copies that you save to Files or another destination are not deleted by the App.
7. Deleting data
You can delete diary entries, photos, drafts, sealed recovery data, and settings from within the App. You may also permanently abandon only the sealed recovery data and start over without making a purchase.
Deleting the App from your iPhone deletes diary entries and recovery files in the App container, and they cannot be restored.
8. Children's privacy
The App does not collect user accounts or personal information on our servers. If parental device management is needed, please use iOS family and Screen Time features.
9. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy in response to changes in law, the operating system, or App functionality. We will provide clear notice of material changes on this page or within the App.
