Learn how to pin and release desktop windows.
Basic controls
- Select a window and press Ctrl + Alt + Space to pin it. Press the same shortcut to release it.
- Use the tray menu to view pinned windows, release one or release all.
- Change shortcut, notifications, sound, language and startup preferences in settings.
Compatibility and limitations
Windows 11 on x64. English and Japanese interfaces. Ordinary, non-elevated desktop windows are supported. Elevated applications, UAC screens and exclusive full-screen content are not supported. Another always-on-top window can still appear in front.
Choose a different shortcut if another app already uses it. Normal exit attempts to release tracked windows. Retry or release individual windows from the tray if release fails.
