TabRefresh for Safari — Support
Refresh multiple Safari tabs together within a selected scope.
Getting started
Requires an iPhone with iOS 18 or later. In Settings > Apps > Safari > Extensions, enable TabRefresh. Open a webpage in Safari, choose TabRefresh from the page menu, check the scope and tab count, and start refreshing. The containing app also provides a step-by-step setup guide.
Which tabs are refreshed?
The targets are tabs Safari makes available to the extension. Reloads do not cross profiles, normal/private browsing boundaries, or devices. The available count may differ between tab groups. If a group is not included, open that group and run TabRefresh there.
Reloading can discard unsaved form inputs or reset video playback. TabRefresh does not read or automatically save those inputs.
If processing stops
Reopen TabRefresh from the Safari page menu and check the result and remaining count. When a resume button is available, it resumes only tabs whose refresh has not started. Tabs with unknown results are not automatically retried. After Safari restarts or an interruption exceeds 30 minutes, select a new scope.
Counts describe reload requests accepted by Safari. Successful page loading is not guaranteed. Check important pages in Safari.
If you cannot find the extension
Check Manage Extensions in Safari and the Safari section of Settings. Ensure the extension is enabled for the profile you use and check private-browsing availability. On iOS 26.2 or later, the containing app can check extension state and open extension settings.
