SizeTrail Privacy Policy
This policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles information in the SizeTrail Windows app.
Information handled on your device
SizeTrail reads names, paths, sizes, attributes, and creation or modification times for files and folders in the location you select. It does not open file contents to calculate sizes.
The app does not save scan results, file lists, or recently scanned locations, and it has no feature that sends them to a SizeTrail server. Window size, maximized state, and your selected display language are stored in local app settings.
Changes to files
Scanning does not change files. Only after you select an item and accept Windows' confirmation does the app ask Windows to move it to the Recycle Bin. Changes to items in synced folders may propagate to other devices through the sync service.
Connections and third-party services
SizeTrail has no app-specific accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or automatic crash reporting. Windows or a sync service may communicate when you scan a network share or cloud-synced folder.
Microsoft manages purchases, installation, updates, refunds, and payments made through Microsoft Store.
