SEO Meta Info Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles information in the iOS app SEO Meta Info.
Information We Collect
SEO Meta Info does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
The app does not send or collect browsing history, inspected page content, inspection results, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage data, or other personal data to CAEN or third-party servers. We do not sell data, share it for advertising, or track users.
Webpage Processing
The Safari extension reads only the current tab where you explicitly open SEO Meta Info from Safari's extensions menu. It does not continuously monitor the pages you browse.
To display page information, it processes data available in the rendered DOM on device, including the current URL, title, meta and link elements, headings, image attributes, page links, Open Graph, X / Twitter Card, JSON-LD, and Microdata.
The extension does not implement code that reads form values, cookies, passwords, or payment information. It also does not make extra requests for images, external links, robots.txt, or sitemap.xml as part of the inspection.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app does not save inspected page content or inspection results. The extension stores only the name of the last selected tab in localStorage so it can restore the same view the next time it opens.
This preference is not sent to CAEN and is not used for advertising or tracking. Deleting the app also removes related data under iOS management.
Permissions and Copying
activeTab lets the extension read the current tab only after you explicitly invoke it. scripting lets it inject the inspection code into the top frame of that tab. The extension does not request permanent host access to all HTTP or HTTPS sites and does not use a persistent content script.
clipboardWrite is used only when you choose to copy an individual value, list, JSON-LD block, or Markdown report. After copying, the destination where you paste the information handles it under that destination's policy.
External Websites
The inspected website is governed by its operator's privacy policy. CAEN does not control that website's own communications, cookies, or data collection.
Purchase Information
SEO Meta Info is offered as a paid-up-front app on the App Store. Apple handles purchases, payments, receipts, and refunds.
The app does not obtain your credit card number, Apple Account password, or billing address.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app, laws, or App Store requirements change. The updated text and date will be posted on this page.
