Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Sealant & Coating Calculator (the “app”) stores information and handles exports and sharing.
Operator and contact
The app is provided by CAEN Inc. For privacy questions, contact us using the address at the end of this page.
Information stored on your device
The app stores project names, notes, dimensions, material names, colours or product codes, package sizes, density, coverage rates, stock, prices, calculation history, drafts and display settings that you enter. The app uses this information to calculate and show your records in its private storage area on your device.
Transmission and third-party services
The app does not send saved information to CAEN's servers. It has no account, advertising, analytics, crash reporting or server sync features.
When you choose to export or share a PDF, CSV, text file or backup, the file is passed to the app or storage destination you select. If you choose a cloud service, that provider handles its storage and transmission under its own practices.
File access
The app uses Android's system file picker to open and save files. It does not request access to all files on your device. Temporary files for sharing are created in the app's local cache.
Retention and deletion
You can delete projects, materials and history in the app. Uninstalling the app deletes information in its private storage. The app cannot delete files that you exported elsewhere.
JSON backups are not encrypted by the app. Consider that they may contain project names and notes when choosing where to save or share them.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the app's information practices change. The updated policy applies from the date it is posted here.
