ScriptScroll Terms of Use
These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using the iOS app ScriptScroll provided by CAEN Inc. Please review these terms before using the app.
Scope
These terms apply whenever you use ScriptScroll.
By using ScriptScroll, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
App Description
ScriptScroll is a PDF viewer that displays vertically written script PDFs in a horizontal scroll flow.
CAEN Inc. may change, add, suspend, or discontinue app features, screens, or specifications when necessary.
In-App Purchases
ScriptScroll may offer a non-consumable in-app purchase for Pro features such as unlimited PDF storage, bookmarks, auto-hiding toolbar, and horizontal margin trimming.
Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Purchase conditions, payment, refunds, and Family Sharing follow Apple's terms and settings.
Purchased access may be restorable with the corresponding Apple Account. Please use the restore feature in the app.
PDF Management
You are responsible for managing the contents and rights of PDFs that you add, store, and view in ScriptScroll.
Do not use, distribute, or share PDFs in a way that infringes copyrights or other third-party rights.
Prohibited Acts
You must not do any of the following when using ScriptScroll.
- Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Acts that infringe the rights, privacy, or reputation of a third party
- Acts that cause damage to CAEN Inc. or a third party
- Analysis, modification, unauthorized use, or use beyond the normal intended scope of the app
- Other acts that CAEN Inc. determines to be inappropriate
Disclaimer
CAEN Inc. does not guarantee that ScriptScroll will meet your specific purpose, operate accurately or continuously, or be free of defects.
Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by CAEN Inc., CAEN Inc. is not liable for damages caused by the use or inability to use ScriptScroll, loss of PDFs or reading data, or issues arising from your device environment.
Changes to These Terms
CAEN Inc. may change these terms when necessary. The updated terms will be posted on this page.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises in connection with ScriptScroll, the court with jurisdiction under applicable law will have exclusive jurisdiction.
