Local processing and storage
Regex Tester processes and stores regular expressions, input and replacement text, test cases, workspace titles, notes, and preferences on your device. It has no account system, ads, analytics, external crash reporting, or developer-server communication. The app does not request internet permission.
Files and clipboard
Files are read or written through Android's file picker when you choose them. The original input file is not modified. If you choose a cloud file provider, that provider handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy. Copy actions place the selected text on Android's clipboard. The operating system and keyboard may handle clipboard data independently of this app.
Deletion and backups
Saved workspaces can be deleted in the app. Uninstalling or clearing the app's storage removes its internal data. Exported files remain at their destinations until you delete them there. Automatic cloud backup and device transfer are excluded for app data. The app does not provide cloud synchronization.
Payment
Regex Tester is a paid download without subscriptions or additional purchases. Google Play processes purchases and payments. The app does not receive or store payment card information.
