QuietOutput Relay Support

Use QuietOutput Relay to start or stop a stream of digital silence on your selected audio output.

Getting started

  • Choose the Windows default output or a specific audio device, then press Start. Check that the app reports it is playing.
  • Press Stop when it is no longer needed. Stop ends silent streaming and reconnection. Start, Stop, and Exit are also available from the notification area menu.
  • If an output is unavailable, check Windows sound settings to confirm the device is connected and enabled.

Device and power limitations

The app is intended for devices that stay active while an audio stream is open. Digital silence may not prevent automatic power-off on devices that detect signal level. Standby prevention is not guaranteed for every speaker or DAC.

Depending on the audio driver, an open stream may affect automatic PC sleep and power use. Start it only while needed and stop it afterward. Volume and mute settings are unchanged.

This is an offline, one-time-purchase app with no ads, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or account registration. Microsoft Store purchases and updates follow Microsoft's terms.
