QuietOutput Relay Privacy Policy
QuietOutput Relay is a Windows app from CAEN Inc. that sends digital silence to a selected audio output.
Audio and local preferences
The app reads Windows audio output device identifiers and names to select an output and show connection status. It does not access the microphone, record audio, or capture the content of audio being played.
The selected output identifier and name, Start/Stop state, and close-to-tray preference are stored in local app data for the current user. Sign-in startup is managed through Windows StartupTask and is used only when enabled by the user.
Only digital silence is rendered. Windows and device volume or mute settings are unchanged.
External communication
The app has no external network transmission, cloud storage, advertisements, analytics, or account registration. Audio and settings are not sent externally.
Microsoft Store purchases, distribution, and updates, webpages opened by the user, and support email follow the respective providers' privacy terms.
