QR Reader Privacy Policy
QR Reader processes camera input and selected photos on your device. We do not collect user data from the app.
Camera and photos
Camera access is used to read QR codes. The app does not record or save camera video, or send it to us.
When scanning a photo, the app processes only the photo you select in the photo picker. It does not request access to your entire photo library. Selected photos are not sent to us.
Data stored on your device
When history saving is enabled, scanned QR contents, scan dates, scan sources, and favorite status are saved in the app's local storage. QR contents may include URLs, Wi-Fi passwords, or other sensitive information.
Settings for scan sounds, vibration, and history saving, and the status of in-app review requests, are also stored locally. The app does not send this data to us or sync it to our servers.
You can delete individual history records or clear all history from History or Settings. Turning off history saving does not automatically delete existing records. Device backups are managed by the operating system and your backup settings.
External actions you choose
Opening a link, composing an email or message, opening a map, copying, and sharing happen only when you choose an action. Selected content may be passed to another app or recipient. Data handling by external services is governed by their policies.
If you email us for support, we use your email address and the information you send to respond and investigate the issue. Do not include passwords or other confidential information that is not needed for support.
Advertising, analytics, and tracking
The app uses no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party crash reporting SDKs. It has no accounts, advertising tracking, or usage data collection by us.
