PicFormat Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles user information in the iOS app PicFormat.
Basic Policy
PicFormat is an image conversion app that converts user-selected images on the device to JPEG, PNG, or HEIC, then lets the user save or share the results. It also supports importing WebP images.
CAEN Inc. does not collect, store, sell, or share names, email addresses, phone numbers, location information, photos, image files, advertising identifiers, device identifiers for tracking, or usage analytics data through PicFormat.
Photos and Image Files
PicFormat loads only photos or image files explicitly selected by the user and converts them to the selected output format.
Image conversion is performed on the device. Selected images and converted images are not uploaded to CAEN servers.
When you choose to save an image, the converted image is saved to your photo library or to the destination you select.
Permissions Requested by the App
PicFormat may request the following permissions only to provide its core features.
- Photo selection access: Used so you can choose images to convert.
- Add-only photo library access: Used to save converted images to the photo library on your device.
- File access: Used to read image files selected from Files and export converted images.
PicFormat processes images only when you select them. It does not collect or transmit your entire photo library or file storage.
Accounts, Advertising, and Tracking
PicFormat does not require account registration or login.
PicFormat does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Transmission to Third-Party Services
PicFormat does not send user data, photos, image files, or usage information to third-party services.
If you use the share button, the handling of the shared image is governed by the terms and privacy policy of the selected destination app or service.
Changes to This Policy
CAEN Inc. may update this Privacy Policy when app features, legal requirements, or operational needs change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
