How the app handles data and how to contact us.

Data handled on your device
Selected photos and videos are processed on your device. The app does not send media or usage data to our servers. It has no advertising, analytics SDK, tracking or account registration.
The app stores references to files you allow through the photo picker. Files shared by another app are copied into app-private storage when ongoing read access cannot be obtained. The current editing session, edit and export preferences, the latest 100 successful export records, and recovery records are also stored locally.
Saving and sharing
Edited photos and videos are saved to the PhotoVideoFit album on your device. Originals are not changed. Source GPS location, capture time and camera metadata are not copied to the output.
Only when you choose Share are saved files passed to the app you select. Further handling is governed by the receiving service.
Permissions and libraries
Notifications show export progress and a cancel action. Saving remains available if you decline notification permission. Foreground services and a wake lock support media processing and saving that you initiate. The app requests neither broad photo-library access nor the INTERNET permission.
The app uses AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, Media3 and Kotlin coroutines. Media3 platform diagnostic reporting is disabled.
Deleting data
Clear all edits removes the current session and input copies created by the app. Android Clear storage or uninstalling removes app-private data, including preferences, export history and recovery files. Original files and gallery exports remain. Delete exported files using your gallery or file manager.
Google Play, Android and support
Google Play handles purchases and distribution. Network activity by the Android photo picker or file providers is governed by those services.
If you email support, CAEN Inc. uses your email address and message to reply and investigate the issue. This is not data sent automatically by the app.

We update this page when relevant data handling or app functionality changes.
