Photo Video Padding Privacy Policy
Photo Video Padding processes the photos and videos you select on your device. Your editing media is never uploaded to a CAEN Inc. server.
Scope
This policy applies to the Photo Video Padding iOS app provided by CAEN Inc. It also explains the relevant handling when you deliberately open the support website or contact us by email.
Photo and video processing
Photos and videos selected through the system photo picker or Files app are processed only on your device for import, preview, editing, export, saving, and sharing. The app has no account system and does not upload source media or exported files to our servers.
Imported media, previews, work-in-progress exports, and files awaiting sharing are stored in the app's temporary storage. Unneeded files are removed when you discard a project or clear a completion result, and remaining temporary files are removed the next time the app launches.
Collection, tracking, and third-party SDKs
- The app does not externally collect personal information, usage data, photos, or videos.
- The app contains no advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or third-party data sharing.
- The app does not include advertising, analytics, or other third-party SDKs.
Settings stored on your device
The app stores export quality, image format, and JPEG quality preferences in UserDefaults. It also stores a successful-export count and the app version in which the system review prompt was offered, solely to avoid repeatedly showing that prompt. This information is not transmitted and is removed when the app's local data is deleted.
Photo library permission
The app requests add-only photo library access only when you choose Save to Photos, so it can write the edited photo or video. It does not request permission to read your entire photo library. If you decline, you can still retrieve exported files through the share sheet.
Support website and inquiries
When you open a legal or support page, the hosting provider may process ordinary technical information such as an IP address that is needed to deliver the website. Your photos and videos are not included. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to respond and provide necessary follow-up support.
Deleting data
You can delete media being edited by discarding the project. Deleting the app from the iOS Home Screen removes all app data stored on the device, including preferences. Files already saved to Photos or another sharing destination remain under your control and must be deleted from that destination.
