Xylophone Support
Xylophone lets you play by tapping or sliding across the bars while holding your iPhone in landscape.
Basic use
- Tap a bar to play it. You can touch multiple bars at once or slide a finger across them.
- Choose a one-octave or two-octave range from the top bar.
- Show note labels as Do Re Mi, C · D · E, or hide them.
- Use Record to temporarily capture a performance, then play or delete it.
- Open Settings to change the mallet, volume, and tap haptics.
If you cannot hear sound
- Turn up the iPhone volume and check that audio is routed to the intended speaker or headphones.
- Close other audio apps, then reopen Xylophone.
- If a Bluetooth device is connected, check its volume as well.
Recordings and settings
Recordings are kept only while the App is running and are not restored after the App closes. Settings are stored on your device and are removed when you delete the App.
Requirements
Xylophone supports iPhone with iOS 17 or later. The instrument screen is used in landscape.
