These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using the iOS app Masterpiece Art Camera provided by CAEN Inc. Please review these terms before using the app.
Scope
These terms apply whenever you use Masterpiece Art Camera.
By using Masterpiece Art Camera, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
App Description
Masterpiece Art Camera lets you place the front camera inside a selected area of a classic artwork and save the result as a photo or video.
CAEN Inc. may change, add, suspend, or discontinue app features, screens, or specifications when necessary.
Management of Captured Content
You are responsible for managing photos and videos captured and saved with Masterpiece Art Camera.
If a dispute arises with a third party regarding the subject, location, content, or audio of captured media, you are responsible for resolving that dispute.
Prohibited Acts
You must not do any of the following when using Masterpiece Art Camera.
- Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Acts that infringe the rights, privacy, or reputation of a third party
- Acts that cause damage to CAEN Inc. or a third party
- Analysis, modification, unauthorized use, or use beyond the normal intended scope of the app
- Other acts that CAEN Inc. determines to be inappropriate
Intellectual Property
Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to Masterpiece Art Camera belong to CAEN Inc. or their rightful owners.
Classic artwork images included in the app are based on public domain works.
Rights to photos and videos you capture with Masterpiece Art Camera belong to you, provided that they do not violate laws or third-party rights.
Disclaimer
CAEN Inc. does not guarantee that Masterpiece Art Camera will meet your specific purpose, operate accurately or continuously, or be free of defects.
Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by CAEN Inc., CAEN Inc. is not liable for damages caused by the use or inability to use Masterpiece Art Camera, loss of captured data, or issues arising from your device environment.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises in connection with Masterpiece Art Camera, the court with jurisdiction under applicable law will have exclusive jurisdiction.
