Japan Tax Calculator Privacy Policy
Japan Tax Calculator stores entered amounts and history on your device. It has no accounts, ads, analytics, or custom server transmission.
Information stored on your device
The app stores entered amounts, item names, quantities, tax rates, rounding settings, calculation history, notes, favorites, and app preferences on your device so it can calculate values and show saved history. You can turn off input amount memory in Settings.
Information sent outside the app
The app does not create accounts or use ads, analytics, or its own server communication. It does not send amounts, history, settings, or device identifiers to CAEN Inc.
The app opens the National Tax Agency's calculation guidance in your external browser. The Agency's and browser provider's privacy policies apply to those destinations.
Copying, sharing, and exporting at your request
When you choose to copy, paste, share, export a CSV, or create a backup, the app passes the data needed for that action to the clipboard, an Android share destination, or the storage location you select in the file picker. The app reads clipboard contents only when you choose Paste.
The privacy policy of a cloud storage or sharing service you select applies to that service. CSV and backup files are not encrypted.
Retention and deletion
On-device data remains until you delete history or clear the app's storage in Android settings. Uninstalling the app removes its saved data.
Delete files exported to another app or storage destination there. The app does not use Android automatic backup or device-to-device transfer.
