InkanScan Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles user information in the iOS app InkanScan.
Basic Policy
InkanScan creates transparent PNG electronic seal images from a photo of a red seal stamped on white paper.
CAEN Inc. does not collect, store, sell, or share names, email addresses, phone numbers, location information, photos, seal images, advertising identifiers, tracking identifiers, or analytics data through InkanScan.
Photos, Camera, and Seal Images
InkanScan processes only images captured or selected by the user.
Image processing is performed on the device. Captured photos, selected images, and created seal images are not uploaded to CAEN servers.
If you choose to save or share a seal image, it is passed to your photo library, Files, or the destination app or service you select.
Permissions Requested by the App
InkanScan may request the following permissions only to provide its core features.
- Camera access: Used to photograph a seal stamped on paper.
- Photo selection access: Used to select an existing seal image.
- Add-only photo library access: Used to save created transparent PNG images to your photo library.
Purchases
The one-time Pro purchase is processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. CAEN Inc. does not receive credit card numbers or payment details.
Purchase entitlement is checked using Apple's StoreKit system.
Accounts, Advertising, and Tracking
InkanScan does not require account registration or login.
InkanScan does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Changes to This Policy
CAEN Inc. may update this Privacy Policy when app features, legal requirements, or operational needs change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
