HTML Source Viewer Privacy Policy
CAEN Inc. sets out this policy for information handled by HTML Source Viewer.
Information we collect
HTML Source Viewer does not collect personal information, account data, usage data, advertising identifiers, browsing history, location, contacts, or diagnostics. The app has no account system.
HTML processing
On websites where you grant access, the Safari extension reads the current DOM of the active tab as HTML and displays and searches it on your device. URLs, HTML, and search text are not sent to CAEN Inc. or third-party servers and are not stored persistently by the app.
The extension writes the displayed HTML to the clipboard only when you choose Copy. It does not read existing clipboard content.
Settings stored on your device
Only four preferences are stored in the Safari extension's local storage: font size, line wrapping, line numbers, and case-sensitive search. URLs, HTML, search terms, and clipboard history are not stored.
Permissions and third-party services
The extension uses access to HTTP and HTTPS websites so it can work on pages you choose. It contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, external SDKs, or external HTML analysis services.
Deletion and changes
Deleting the app also removes settings stored on the device. If this policy changes, we will publish the revised content and date on this page.
