EstimateMaker Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles user information in the iOS app EstimateMaker.
Basic Policy
EstimateMaker is an offline utility app for entering client names, subjects, line items, and issuer information, then creating, saving, and sharing estimate PDFs on your device.
CAEN Inc. does not collect, store, sell, or share names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, estimate data, PDFs, advertising identifiers, device identifiers for tracking, or usage analytics data through EstimateMaker.
Estimate Data and PDFs
Client names, subjects, estimate numbers, dates, line items, notes, and issuer information entered by the user are processed on the device.
PDF generation is performed on the device. Entered content and generated PDFs are not uploaded to CAEN servers.
Created PDFs and history are stored inside the app. Only when you use the share feature, the PDF is passed to the destination you select through the iOS share sheet.
Issuer Information
The app lets you enter issuer information such as business name, postal code, address, phone number, email address, and invoice registration number for display in generated PDFs.
This information is stored on your device and is not sent to CAEN servers or third-party services.
Accounts, Advertising, and Tracking
EstimateMaker does not require account registration or login.
EstimateMaker does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Transmission to Third-Party Services
EstimateMaker does not transmit entered data, estimate PDFs, or usage information to third-party services.
When you use the share button, handling by the destination app or service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy.
Backups and Device Management
Device backups, iCloud backups, device migration, and file management are governed by your device settings and Apple's service behavior.
If you delete the app, data and PDFs stored inside the app may also be deleted from your device. Please share or save any necessary PDFs before deleting the app.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy due to app changes, legal changes, or operational needs. Updates will be posted on this page.
