Contacts CSV Privacy Policy
Contacts CSV converts contacts you authorize into CSV entirely on your device. It does not send your contacts or CSV files to CAEN Inc. servers.
1. Contacts Access
The app requests access to iOS Contacts only to convert contacts you select into a CSV file. It can access only the contacts you authorize.
Contacts are read only. The app does not add, edit, or delete contacts.
2. Processing and Transmission
Reading contacts, generating CSV, and previewing the result happen on your device. We do not transmit or collect your contacts, generated CSV files, usage data, or device identifiers.
The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or third-party account SDKs and does not track you.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores your selected CSV fields, delimiter, line ending, header language, UTF-8 BOM, and spreadsheet text-protection preferences on your device for future exports.
A generated CSV is held in the app's temporary directory only while you preview, save, or share it. The temporary copy is removed when the preview closes or when the app next starts.
4. Saving and Sharing
The app passes a CSV to a destination or third-party app only when you explicitly choose Save to Files or a share destination. The selected service's terms and privacy policy then apply.
The app does not automatically delete copies you save elsewhere. Delete those files in the destination app when you no longer need them.
5. Changing Permissions and Deleting Data
You can change or revoke Contacts access at any time in iOS Settings. On iOS 18 or later, you can choose the individual contacts available to the app.
Deleting the app removes its stored CSV preferences and temporary data. CSV files you saved to Files or shared elsewhere are not deleted.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app, applicable law, or store requirements change. Material changes will be announced on this page or in the App Store update notes.
