Blindfold Chess Privacy Policy
Blindfold Chess processes games and training on your device and does not collect personal information or usage history on a developer server.
Data collected by the developer
The app does not send personal information, usage history, device identifiers, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or crash information to the developer. It has no account registration, advertising, external analytics, or tracking.
Data stored on your device
The app stores settings, onboarding status, a saved game, move records, game results, board-peek counts, training records, and streaks on your device to provide its features.
This data is not sent automatically to the developer.
Microphone and speech recognition
The app requests microphone and Apple speech-recognition access only when you choose voice move entry. It uses on-device recognition when supported. Apple's speech-recognition service may be used depending on the device and operating system, but the developer does not collect audio or recognition results.
If you decline these permissions, all game features remain available through board taps and notation input.
Sharing a PGN
The iOS share sheet appears only when you choose to share a PGN. You select the destination and content; the app never sends a PGN automatically.
Third-party SDKs and encryption
The app contains no advertising, analytics, third-party crash-reporting, or social-login SDKs. It also implements no custom encryption or app-controlled network communication.
Deleting data
Use “Delete records and saved game” in Settings to remove the saved game and game and training records from your device. Deleting the app also removes data the app stored locally.
Changes and contact
We may revise this policy when the app, operating system, or applicable law changes.
