Audio Reverser Privacy Policy
CAEN Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") describes in this policy how the Audio Reverser iPhone app (the "App") handles information.
Data we collect
The App does not transmit or collect recordings, selected audio files, reversed audio, project names, usage data, device identifiers, or other information on our servers.
The App has no account registration, advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Data processed and stored on your device
Recordings and audio files you select are copied into the App's storage and processed on your iPhone for reversal, playback, waveform display, saving, and sharing. The App stores the original and reversed audio, waveform samples, project name, creation and modification dates, duration, source type, and file size on the device.
Stored files and project information use iOS data protection. The App also stores, only on the device, the creation count, first-use date, and app version used to decide when to request an App Store review.
Microphone access
The App requests microphone permission and uses the microphone only when you choose to start a recording. Importing an existing audio file does not require microphone access.
You can change microphone permission at any time in iOS Settings.
File import and sharing outside the App
The App uses the iOS file picker and copies only the audio file you select into its storage. It does not request broad access to your file library.
Exported audio is passed outside the App only when you choose Save & Share and select a destination or another app in the iOS share menu. Data shared this way is handled under the terms and privacy policy of the selected destination.
Deleting data
Deleting a project in the App removes its original audio, reversed audio, waveform, and project information from the App's storage. Deleting the App also removes data held in the App's container from the device.
The App cannot delete copies that you previously saved or shared outside it. Delete those copies at their destination.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, applicable law, or related circumstances change. We will provide notice of material changes on this page or by another appropriate method.
