AI SEO Audit Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN Inc. handles information in the iOS app AI SEO Audit.

Information We Collect

AI SEO Audit does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Except for the direct requests to the audited website described below, the app does not send browsing history, full page text, audit results, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage data, or other personal data to CAEN or external AI, advertising, or analytics services, and CAEN does not collect them. We do not sell data, share it for advertising, or track users.

Webpage Processing

The Safari extension audits a page when you have granted access to the website and open AI SEO Audit from Safari's extensions menu. It does not send browsing content to CAEN or track you across websites.

For an audit, the extension processes the current page's URL, title, metadata, headings, main-content structure, links, image alternative text, structured data such as JSON-LD, and visible author, date, and publisher information on device. Page-type inference and scoring use deterministic rules built into the app, not an external LLM or generative AI service.

The extension does not implement code that reads form values, cookies, localStorage, passwords, or payment information.

Requests to the Audited Website

During an audit, the extension may request /robots.txt from the current website and may check either a Sitemap directive or the same origin's standard /sitemap.xml URL. It does not fetch the destination URLs listed in Sitemap directives.

These requests go directly to the audited website and do not pass through CAEN servers. The extension may follow redirects returned by that website. The audited website and a redirect destination handle ordinary request information, such as the IP address and User-Agent, under each operator's policy. The extension does not make extra requests for page images or external links as part of the audit.

Information Stored on Your Device

Only when you choose Save to App, the app stores the page URL and title, score, findings, recommendations, and short extracted topic, summary, and evidence snippets in an App Group used only by the app and its Safari extension. It does not store the full page body.

Up to 50 audit entries are retained. Saved information is not uploaded to CAEN or synchronized automatically. You can delete individual entries or clear all history in the app.

Permissions

Website access is used so you can audit an HTTP or HTTPS page you choose. activeTab and scripting are used to run the audit on the current tab.

nativeMessaging and the App Group are used to pass an audit you choose to save from the Safari extension to the containing app and share it on device. These permissions are not used for advertising, tracking, or continuous monitoring.

Copying, Sharing, and External Websites

Audit results are copied to the clipboard or passed to the iOS share sheet only when you choose the corresponding action. The service you select then handles the shared information under its own policy.

The audited website and any external links are governed by their operators' privacy policies. CAEN does not control those websites' own communications, cookies, or data collection.

Purchase Information

AI SEO Audit is offered as a paid-up-front app on the App Store. Apple handles purchases, payments, receipts, and refunds.

The app does not obtain your credit card number, Apple Account password, or billing address.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app, laws, or App Store requirements change. The updated text and date will be posted on this page.
